Hull Anodes for Marine & Ship Hull Protection
Zinc and aluminium sacrificial hull anodes engineered to provide reliable cathodic protection for ship hulls and submerged marine structures.
HULL ANODES
Hull Anodes for Reliable Ship Hull Protection
Hull Anodes are sacrificial anodes designed to protect the underwater surfaces of ships and marine vessels from corrosion. RELI SLEEVE offers zinc and aluminium anode solutions for marine cathodic protection applications where submerged steel surfaces are exposed to seawater or other conductive marine environments.
During operation, the sacrificial anode acts as the more active metal in the cathodic protection system. It gradually consumes itself while helping protect the connected steel hull from corrosion. This makes correctly selected hull anodes an important component of a vessel's corrosion protection strategy.
Hull anodes are generally installed by welding directly to the ship hull. Where required by the vessel design or installation requirements, bolted configurations can also be provided. The anode dimensions, configuration and insert arrangement can be developed according to customer requirements and project specifications.
With the Reliable Group's long-standing experience in industrial materials, pipeline engineering and corrosion protection solutions, RELI SLEEVE is expanding its product offering into anode and cathodic protection solutions for marine and industrial applications.
